Austin Children's Museum

 

 

 

 

Aunt Corrina and cousin Giselle came into town and we took the kids to the Children's Museum.
The first exhibit was these levitating balls and Brooks was set. If I tried to take him anywhere else he would flip! He has a much longer attention span than I do! We can see the rest of the museum next time.

Brooks LOVES balloons

 

 

This picture was taken a couple months ago during a visit to Houston but I finally got around to downloading it.
Gigi & Paw Paw got Brooks some balloons and he REFUSED to let go of them and finally fell asleep holding them. So cute!!!

Valentine's Day!

 

Gigi, Paw Paw and Aunt Julz came up so Jeff and I could go out for a lovely evening. Thanks guys! We had a blast!

Sometimes when I go to get Brooks in the morning his hair looks like this. HA!

Le Ballon Rouge

If your kid likes balloons as much as Brooks, Le Ballon Rouge (The Red Balloon) is a must see! It is 30 minutes long and Brooks sat on my lap transfixed and clapping and yelling "balloon!" the whole time.

Photo Shoot Friday! 16 Months!

I don't have as much time for photo shoot Fridays now that Brooks is a toddler and ALL over the place!
Three months ago Brooks couldn't walk and now he is scaling his jungle gym and going down the slide all by himself. WOW!!! They really do grow FAST!!!
Also, this rocking horse was mine as a child. My parents bought it from a local artisan in Sacramento and they kept it all these years.

Brooks likes to get in Daddy's car and jam out to the radio. Sometimes I go out there and Brooks is "driving" wearing Jeff's sunglasses. Like father, like son!

Schoenhut Piano

Brooks LOVES his new piano. Brooks Amadeus Bergeron.
He has already put on several "concerts" for us and we are looking forward to many more. And it came with a "play by color" guide and song book so I am all over it!
